Desktops and Laptops and PDAs oh my part 1

Over the next couple of weeks I want to talk a little bit about the different computer categories and how the 770 fits in.

We have desktop computers which are big bulky machines that we have to sit at desks to use. They are not very portable but boy they have lots of power. They are also very cheap and have parts that are easily replaceable. That is why they have survived for so long and I think will be around for a long time.

Desktops are very powerful but the way people use them don't require that much power. Desktops are mostly used for simple tasks such as email, word processing, and web surfing. Which can be done on a low cost portable device.
